Hey, I’m Tara!
My hometown has often been quoted as ”the city of churches” yet, I have only worshiped at two maybe three of them.
Growing up, my mom was staff at a local church so that is were I attended for the first twenty some years of my life.
I would only leave that church because I started working at a different church just a few streets over.
In February 2022 I made a career shift and for the first time in my thirty years of life I was going to be able to visit churches on Sundays! The thought of this opportunity brought me so much excitement and joy! But, where would I go? Which church would I start with? Should I visit them all?
This blog will allow you to join me as I church-hop my way through ”the city of churches”.
My goal for this blog is NOT to call out what churches are “good” or “bad”… I don’t believe that is helpful nor do I think either label actually describes a church correctly…
My goal is to find God in every house of worship and to inspire others to not be afraid to visit a church… even if you have to go alone!
